Fall Meetings 2019 Information Overview
Overview:
Hosted by ESA, the CCSDS Fall 2019 meeting series will be held in Darmstadt, Germany. The main technical meeting series will be held 21 October – 24 October 2019 and will be followed by the CESG Meeting which will be held on 25 October 2019 at ESOC. The CCSDS Management Council (CMC) will meet the following week from 28 October – 30 October 2019, also at ESOC. As always, Dress for the Technical Plenary meeting is Business Casual.
Meeting Location
The spring 2019 meetings will take place at the Darmstadtium located in Darmstadt, Germany. The address of Darmstadtium is:

Lunches
ESA has arranged for lunch to be available daily on the third level of the conference area. A self-service buffet and a selection of non-alcoholic beverages will be available for a cost of 12 Euros. Payment will be by cash only. It will not be possible to pay by credit card.
Coffee Breaks
Coffee breaks have been arranged by ESA at no expense to attendees.

For hotel reservations, ESA special rates, subject to availability, may be obtained at:

To obtain the ESA special rate at one of these hotels, please contact ESA’s local travel agency via e-mail for assistance: esoc@reeg.com. Please provide your full name and credit card details so that the travel agency may make a hotel booking for you. A service charge of 15.47 Euro per booking will be charged for this service.
Many other hotels are available in Darmstadt with Welcome Hotel Darmstadt being the nearest to the Damrstadium.
Social Events
ESA has arranged to host a dinner for meeting attendees on Wednesday, 23 October 2019. Vouchers for this dinner will be available only on Monday 21 October 2019 for 25 Euros. If you will be unable to purchase a voucher on the first day of the meetings, please arrange for a colleague attending the meetings to purchase a voucher for you. Payment will be by cash only. It will not be possible to pay by credit card.
Please indicate when registering for the meetings whether you would like to participate in the dinner or not.
