Spring Meetings 2019 Information Overview
Overview:
Hosted by NASA, the CCSDS spring 2019 meeting series will be held in Mountain View, California, United States at the NASA Ames Conference Center. The main technical meeting series will be held 6 May – 9 May 2019 and will be followed by the CESG Meeting, which will be held 10 May 2019. As always, Dress for the Technical Plenary meeting is Business Casual.

The spring 2019 meetings will take place at NASA Ames Conference Center (NACC). The address of NACC is:

NASA Ames Conference Center includes two separate buildings. Most meetings, including the opening plenary, will be held in Building 152. The buildings are separated by 650m and can easily be reached by walking.
Transportation
While there is an extensive public transportation system in Mountain View and the Santa Clara area, a personal vehicle will allow will allow the greatest degree of mobility. There are rental car agencies located at the local international airports.
Bus route 81 runs from downtown San Jose to Moffett Field. The North Akron & Mc Cord stop on route 81 is 240m from NACC Building 3. Bus route 81 connects with routes covering the greater Santa Clara area. The Santa Clara Valley Transit Authority offers an iOS and Android application with real time information on arrivals and a trip planning capability. Light Rail route 902 stops at the Bayshore/NASA station just outside the Ellis Street/South Gate entrance to NASA Research Park. Information on Light Rail routes can be found by Clicking Here.

Information about NASA Research Park
NASA Ames Conference Center is located in the NASA Research Park. NASA Research Park (NRP) at NASA Ames Research Center in Silicon Valley is a world-class shared-use R&D and education campus for industry, academia, non-profits, and government. NRP provides a physical place for innovation and entrepreneurship and serves as a technology accelerator through fostering both informal and formal collaborations. Today the NRP houses over 70 industry and university partners, with commercially standard leases, onsite collaborating with NASA on a variety of technologies and disciplines.
